One of four in the Northern Accents Series, Sven is a stunning addition to any landscape. This deciduous shrub blooms with mauve flowers. Flowers are produced late spring through fall in 3 to 4 prominent cycles. The strongly-scented flowers are excellent for cutting.

Sven has good resistance to blackspot, allowing the glossy-green leaves to remain all season.

Developed by the University of Minnesota and tested throughout the state, this cultivar needs no special winter treatment.
